Services

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am - 1pm

We offer one-on-one appointments with our trained volunteer counsellors. The sessions are person-led and there is no limit to the number of sessions you can have. You can either self-refer or be referred by a health professional, however this is a very popular service, so you may have to wait for at least 8 weeks for an appointment. If 2 or more sessions are missed without prior warning, clients will be placed back on the waiting list.

Please call us on 0161 736 3844 to register.

Counselling

Wednesday 10am - 12pm

This is the only post-natal support available in Salford, and is run by our trained supporter Julie in a small group format. If you think this group could be for you, please pop in at 10am on a Wednesday, and Julie will have a chat with you to see if the group will meet your needs. Creche provision is available for this group – or if your child is under the age of 1, you are welcome to take your child into the class.

Post-Natal Depression Support

Wednesday 10am - 12.30pm

One of our longest running courses, join other women in a fun and informal group to learn new ways to express yourself creatively. All abilities are welcome to join in, and at any point in the course. Experiment using poetry, short-stories, and more, with some sessions offering direction from a tutor to give you new and fresh ideas!

Crèche

We provide a free on-site crèche for certain groups and courses. Please contact us to find out whether a crèche is available for the group you'd like to attend, and pre-booking for your child is advised so we are aware of numbers.

Our crèche is suitable for children aged from 6 months. Younger babies are welcome if accompanied by a parent or carer. All crèche staff are fully qualified and experienced.

As parents or carers you can also use the Creche as a 'play & stay' facility. Let the little ones play together and have a chat with other mums and carers.

Courses & Classes

We offer a range of courses and classes throughout the year including physical and mental wellbeing, healthy eating and exercise classes.
